MORROW, Ga. – Following a five day break from competition, Clayton State (2-0, 0-0 PBC) heads to Milledgeville, Georgia for the 2018 Bobcat Invitational from September 7-9.
 
They will open against West Georgia (0-1-1, 0-0-0 GSC) at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 7 before taking on Montevallo (1-0-1, 0-0-0 GSC) at 12 p.m. on Sunday, September 9. All games will be played at Georgia College's Bobcat Field located at 120 West Campus Drive in Milledgeville.
 
The meeting with the Wolves will be the tenth all-time between the clubs with the Lakers holding a 6-3 advantage. That series dates back to September 25, 2007 when UWG won the first of three straight games.
 
They haven't won one since but all but one of Clayton State's six straight victories have been by one goal. Most recently they pulled off the second of two 2-1 victories on September 1, 2016, that coming in Carrollton, Georgia. This will be the club's first ever neutral site meeting. Overall, the Lakers are 4-1 at home in the series and 2-2 on the road.
