CARROLLTON, Ga. – Following a strong first two rounds, Clayton State men's golf closed out the Seventh Annual Matt Dyas Invitational with a 5-of-13 finish on Tuesday, October 23. Over the course of 54 holes they shot a 293-281-291-865.

Nick Woof (Leighton Buzzard, England) led the Lakers with a 72-71-72-215 to finish tied for 11
th out of 68 golfers while sophomore
Raul Carbonell (Panama City, Panama) posted a 71-71-74-216 to come in in a tie for 14
th.

Fran Hernandez (Cancun, Mexico) was the next highest finisher in a tie for 19
th as he shot a 75-68-74-217 and freshman
Augusto Oliva (Buenos Aires, Argentina) deadlocked at 34
th (75-74-71-220). Senior
Andres Caballero (Mexico City, Mexico) rounded things out in 41
st with rounds of 76-71-74 to finish with a 221.

No. 10 Young Harris closed out the victory with an 855 performance and was followed by West Georgia (859), Lee (861) and Montevallo (864) in spots No. 2-4.

Clayton State has now closed out the fall portion of the schedule and will be back in action in February at the Newberry College Invitational on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
