Hurricane Michael Forces Postponement of Clayton State Men’s and Women's Soccer Games Slated for October 10

MORROW, Ga. – With the expected heavy rainfall and lightning from Hurricane Michael approaching both the Morrow, Georgia and Montevallo, Alabama area, Clayton State Athletics has announced the postponement of men's and women's soccer games scheduled for Wednesday, October 10.

Women's soccer was originally slated to host No. 13 North Georgia (9-1-0, 5-0-0 PBC) at Laker Field at 7 p.m. while the men we're scheduled to be at Montevallo (2-9-0, 1-4-0 GSC) at 7 p.m. (EST).

Neither game has been rescheduled as of yet but it is likely that the UNG contest will be back on the slate early next week. Both changes were made to accommodate travel and weather concerns in the interest of keeping all parties safe.

Stay tuned to www.ClaytonStateSports.com for any further updates on the status of these games and any other weather related adjustments to Clayton State Athletics schedules.
