MORROW, Ga. – Following a pair of narrow 1-0 defeats to begin the Peach Belt Conference portion of the schedule, Clayton State (2-3, 0-2 PBC) women's soccer looks to get back on beam as they host Georgia College (2-3, 1-1 PBC) on Alumni Weekend. Game time is set for approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 23.
 
The Lakers are 7-6-2 all-time against Georgia College dating to the first meeting on October 24, 2004. Over the last five meetings they are 2-1-2, including a 2-1 victory in the most recent meeting on September 24, 2016. One of those games was technically a 2-2 draw on November 10, 2013 but it saw the Lakers win the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship on penalty kicks, 4-2.
 
Alumni Weekend will also feature the men's game against Limestone at 2:30 p.m. That game will be preceded by the Clayton State Alumni Association and Laker Club hosting a Blues, BBQ and Beverages celebration from 12:30-2 p.m. Full details can be found at www.Clayton.edu/Alumni-bbq.
