MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-6, 0-4 PBC) begins a stretch of three matches in four days, with two against nationally ranked foes, when they host No. 18 Francis Marion (7-5, 3-3 PBC) in an NCAA Division II women's tennis match on Thursday, March 23. First serve is set for 2 p.m. The match was originally scheduled for Friday, March 24 but was moved up a day.
 
All-time, the Lakers are 8-12 against Francis Marion dating back to the first meeting on March 21, 1998. The Patriots have won the last five meetings but Clayton State is 6-4 at home in the series. The Lakers last victory was a 5-4 decision at FMU on March 19, 2011.
