MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (0-2, 0-0 PBC) women's tennis kicks off Peach Belt Conference action as they host Montevallo (8-0, 0-0 PBC) in an NCAA Division II match on Saturday, February 25. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at the Clayton State Tennis Facility.
 
The Lakers lead the all-time series 10-1 dating back to the first meeting on March 14, 1997. They won the first eight meetings before UM pulled out a 5-4 decision on April 5, 2014 in Montevallo, Alabama. Since then Clayton State has won the last two meetings, both by 6-3 scores, with the most recent coming on April 2, 2016 on the road.
