MORROW, Ga. – Following their first league loss of the season, Clayton State (4-2, 1-1 PBC) continues its Peach Belt Conference schedule with a trip to Georgia College (3-1-1, 1-1-0 PBC) on Saturday, September 24. Game time is slated for 3 p.m. in Milledgeville, Georgia.
 
GC's one loss on the season came to No. 12 North Georgia by a 3-1 score on September 17. Additionally, the Bobcats have beaten Mount Olive (9/3) and Newberry (9/4) by 2-0 scores and USC Aiken 4-0 while tying Valdosta State (9/9) at 0-0.
 
The Lakers are 6-6-2 all-time against Georgia College dating to the first meeting on October 24, 2004. It's been win (Clayton State 4-0, 10/4/14), lose (GC 3-2, 10/3/15) and draw (2-2, 11/10/13) over the last three meetings for the clubs.
 
While that 2013 meeting was technically a draw it saw the Lakers win the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championship on penalty kicks, 4-2. It was actually the team's second tie that year as they deadlocked 1-1 in Morrow on October 5.
