Kristiin Mets (Kuressaare, Estonia) pushed Eva Lieben and Anna Wintrich at No. 2 before falling 8-5.

The Patriots would wrap up the match victory with three straight victories at No. 4, No. 3 and No. 1 singles to make it 6-0. Pavel would put up a fight at No. 2 before falling 6-1, 5-7, 10-4 and Wintrich would post a 6-2, 6-2 decision over junior
Carolina Monterrubio (Mexico City, Mexico) at No. 5.

Alina Ageichik (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) who would get Clayton State on the board in the final match of the day. Competing at No. 6, she dropped the first set 6-4 before rebounding with a 6-3 second set victory to force a decisive third set. In that frame she would pull out a 10-8 victory to reach the final margin of 8-1.
