MORROW, Ga. – Separated by just three points for second place in the Peach Belt Conference, Clayton State (7-3-1, 4-2-1 PBC) hosts Armstrong State (8-1-1, 5-0-1 PBC) on Saturday, October 15. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Laker Field.

ASU currently sits in second in the league with 16 points through six games while the Lakers are fourth with 13 points through seven games.

Clayton State trails in the
all-time series 4-11-1 dating back to the first meeting on October 1, 2005. The Lakers won that game 2-0 in Morrow, Georgia, as well as a 5-1 decision in the second round of the PBC Tournament on November 4, 2005.

Following those two games, Armstrong took 10-of-11 with the one anomaly being a scoreless tie on October 9, 2013. Clayton State rebounded with two straight, beginning with a 2-1 first round PBC victory on November 4, 2014. ASU won the last meeting last season with a 2-1 decision of their own in the PBC Tournament on November 3.
