Great finishes by both teams in a pre-conference meet featuring 8 of 11 PBAC teams. Originally planned to run in Pensacola, Fla., but Opal altered our plans. The Lady Lakers finally got to score as a team and did so with gutsy efforts by walking wounded Nonman and Ficquette. Was hoping to see times fall, but both courses were extra long (about a half mile by estimates). We should be ready to smoke this week in Savannah. I think Fabbri and teammates are ready to fly and Peterson is primed. Blackmon ran a super race and is getting stronger with each race.
