Viebrock, the 2021-22 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Sports Information Director of the Year, joins the Lakers in the 2022-23 season after spending the past two seasons as the Sports Information Director at Olivet Nazarene University, located in Bourbonnais, Illinois. At ONU, he was responsible for the publicity and sports information related needs for all twenty-two sports programs.
ONU's sports information office flourished under Viebrock's leadership. The athletics department earned 6th place in the NAIA digital publications contest for overall website design by the NAIA-SIDA after a re-launch of their athletics website in 2021. The redesign was responsible for increasing viewership and engagement by 150%. In addition, he helped grow awareness for ONU Athletics through different social media campaigns, press releases, and graphics, which saw social media engagement grow by 125%.

Viebrock was instrumental in ONU's hosting of the 2022 NAIA men's basketball national championship opening round games and numerous CCAC Conference Championships, including men's and women's basketball, men's soccer, women's volleyball, cross country, track and field, and tennis.
Prior to ONU, Viebrock spent two seasons as a sports information assistant at North Park University. At North Park, he was responsible for the publicity of 10 NCAA DIII athletics programs and hosted the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Regionals, Sweet Sixteen, and Elite 8.

In the summer of 2019, Viebrock was the Assistant General Manager of Sports Information and Gameday Management for the DuPage Pistol Shrimp, a member of the Summer Collegiate Wood Bat League. With the Shrimp, he was responsible for publicity and providing support to interns, broadcasters, and public address announcers and also responsible for growing awareness for a start-up team going into their first season of play.

Prior to North Park and the Pistol Shrimp, Viebrock was the Athletic Communications Assistant at Northern Illinois University from 2017-2018. AT NIU, he implemented play-by-play for soccer, softball, volleyball, and baseball. In addition, he worked with the football team and conducted pre-and-post game interviews with softball and wrestling.

As a student at Bradley University, Viebrock was a production assistant and was a part of the team who pioneered the first "The Valley on ESPN3" broadcasts.

Viebrock earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Communications from Bradley University and a Master of Organizational Leadership from North Park University. He is a current member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
