Ashley Reinecke

A former professional and Division I women’s soccer student-athlete, Reinecke joined Clayton State as the assistant women’s soccer coach in August of 2014.
 
CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY
Serving under Gareth O’Sullivan, she helped lead the Lakers to a combined 22-15-1 record in two seasons. That has included a 13-7 mark in 2014 that saw the team earn national rankings for three weeks during the season.
 
COLLEGIATE PLAYING CAREER: SETON HALL UNIVERSITY (2004-07)
A four-year starter at center-mid for Division I Seton Hall, Reinecke played in 73 games for the Pirates. During that time she contributed to 29 wins and finished her career with six goals, five assists and three game-winning goals.
 
As a senior in 2007, she posted a career-high three goals along with an assist during an 8-8-2 campaign while playing in all 18 games. She also had a goal and two assists in 2006, career-high three assists as a sophomore in 2005 and a pair of scores in 2004.
 
PROFESSIONAL PLAYING CAREER
Following Seton Hall, Reinecke played professionally in the FA Women’s Premier League for Keynsham Town Football Club in England. While there she was named the club’s Player of the Year in 2009 and helped lead KTFC to consecutive Somerset FA County Cup finals appearances in 2010 and 2011.
 
She also played two seasons in the United States as she returned home to Toms River, New Jersey to play for the New Jersey Wildcats in 2010 and 2011. A member of the United States Soccer League’s W-League, the Wildcats compete in the second-highest level of professional women’s soccer in the U.S.
 
YOUTH LEVEL COACHING
In addition to her playing career, Reinecke has also served as a coach at the youth level with Soccer Specific Training in Wall, New Jersey and K.T.L.F.C in Bristol, Connecticut at all levels.
 
EDUCATION
A 2008 graduate of Seton Hall with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Reinecke also holds a Master of Arts in Brand Design from Bath Spa University in England.
