Biography
2000: Had a break through season, highlighted by two individual titles and the second-fastest 5K in team history. Won the UAH Invitational (19:27) and Oglethorpe Invitational (19:39)... Named to 2000 CCCA Academic All-American Team for the second straight year...Earned All-State honors for a second straight year, but missed the conference meet. Ran a career-best 18:50.6 at the Southeastern Classic and finished 22nd at the NCAA South Regionals.
1999: Recorded fourth best 6K time (24:09) in school history at Southeast Regionals ... Named All-Peach Belt Conference, all-state and NCAA II All-Academic ... Tallied five top-ten finishes ... Won the CCSU All-Comers Meet ... Also named to Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll and was team MVP in track during the spring.
1998: CCSU Foundation Scholarship recipient and part of CCSU Honors Program ... Led Lady Lakers in all nine meets ... Set school’s freshman 5K record with a time of 19:52 ... Had two top-10 finishes and also set CCSU 6K record (24:06.0) ... Garnered most valuable runner, all-academic and PBAC Presidential Honor Roll honors.
