Biography

A two-year letterwinner that will contend for the Lakers’ starting point guard position this season… Entering her fourth season under head coach Dennis Cox after playing one season under him in the junior college ranks… Very valuable to the team as a leader… One of the hardest working players on the team… Anxious to contribute any way possible.

2005-06: Played a key role as a backcourt reserve on a Clayton State squad that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament for a second straight season… Saw action in 23 games, averaging two points and one rebound a game… Shot 42 percent from 3-point range… Scored a career-high 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the field against Lander… Also scored nine points against Bowie State and eight points against Augusta State… Dished out a career-high six assists against Lander.

2004-05: Broke into the Clayton State program on a solid footing, helping lead Clayton State to its first Peach Belt Conference championship and first berth in the NCAA Division II National Tournament… Saw action in 32 games with three starts, averaging four points and one rebound a game… Shot 76 percent from the free throw line… Scored a season-high 10 points against Armstrong Atlantic… Also scored nine points each against Georgia College and against Newberry in the NCAA Division II National Tournament… Dished out five assists each against Claflin and Francis Marion.

Pre-Clayton State: Played her freshman season at Daytona Beach Community College for head coach Dennis Cox and helped lead the program to a 19-10 mark in the 2003-04 campaign ... Averaged nine points and four assists per game, earning All-Mid-Florida Conference honors ... Drained 56 three-pointers last year, hitting almost 40 percent from the field... Excelled in the classroom with a 3.91 grade-point average.
