2017-18: Saw action in 29 of 30 games, starting 28 … named to All-Sun Belt Preseason Team … averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.4 steals … scored in double-figures 23 times, including career-high 23 points with 12 assists and three steals in 45 minutes vs. UT Arlington (1/25) … delivered 13 points and nine assists with three steals in 40 minutes in second meeting with UTA (2/24) … dished out eight assists to go with seven points against Georgia Southern (1/20) and had 15 points and seven assists against Louisiana-Monroe (2/10) … flirted with triple-double with 19 points, seven boards and seven assists, along with three steals, against Troy (3/1) … had 16 points, nine caroms and five assists in first meeting with Troy (12/31) … dropped 21 points against Georgia Southern (2/17) … swiped five steals against North Greenville (12/10), adding 11 points and six assists.
 
2016-17: Played in just three games due to injury … started two of those … in that time averaged 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
 
2015-16: Delivered tremendous campaign, playing in all 29 games and starting 28 … named Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year … averaged 8.6 points, a league-leading 5.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals … ranked No. 48 in NCAA Division I in assists per game … dished out career-high 14 assists with 12 points and a pair of steals at Troy (2/13) … assist total tied for the second most in program history and was the most in the Sun Belt all season … tied for second-highest total in the league with 12 assists at Stetson (12/21) … logged 871 minutes to lead the team, 240 minutes ahead of next closest player … had 13 double-digit scoring games, headlined by then career-high 20 points with six assists vs. Troy (1/7) … produced at least five assists 14 times … dropped 18 points with eight boards, four assists and a pair of steals vs. Appalachian State (2/27) … dished out nine assists twice, first against North Florida (12/5) with eight points and again vs. Georgia Southern (1/19) … also had eight caroms, with 13 points, seven assists and four steals, vs. Arkansas State (2/20) … earned spot on Spring 2016 Dean’s List.
 
Archer High School: Played four years of basketball for Tigers … as a senior was named Region 8-AAAAAA Player of the Year and led team to 29-4 record and region championship … three-time All-State selection and four-time All-County honoree … named to GACA North/South All-Star Game … scored 11 points in that game, including five in the final 30 seconds to secure the victory … over the course of her career, AHS posted an incredible 93-31 record and advanced to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Tournament all four years … was GHSA State Runner-Up as a junior (2013-14) and semifinalist as a senior (2014-15) … an offensive force, finished career with 1,538 points and 665 assists (5.4 per game) … produced 74 double-figure scoring games and notched 556 points (18.5 per game) as a senior … her career assist total broke both the Gwinnet County and school records … was also fifth in Gwinnett County history for assists in a season with 223 and produced the sixth most assists in a game, 14, that coming against Jefferson Davis (1/17/14) … finished 13^th in the scoring the county’s history and seventh with 171 made free throws in a season … had 458 career steals for a 3.7 average as well as 406 rebounds … notched career-high 10 steals vs. Berkmar (1/9/15) and went 17-of-27 from the foul line against Lowndes County (3/1/14).
 
Personal: Born on June 29, 1997, Madison is the daughter of Vance and Peaches Newby … family includes two siblings, Jaylen and Autumn … Jaylen is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Autumn is sophomore center at Division I Vanderbilt … currently majoring in Business.
