- Placed fifth in the 800m run as a freshman at the GHSA State Meet, he was the only freshman on the podium in the race
- A part of the team that broke the school record in the 4x800m relay as a sophomore
- Selected as the Athlete of the Year as a junior
- Ran the 200m, 400m, and 800m in high school
