Returns for his second season with the Lakers after consistently running as the team's No. 2 runner in 2010... Will start the season as the team's No. 1 runner.
2010: Finished the year as the team's No. 2 runner.... Earned second team All-PBC with an 11th place individual finish in which the Lakers finished third as a team.... Earned USTFCCCA All-Region with a 15th place finish.... Had three Top 5 and five Top 15 individual finishes... Helped the team win the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational... Helped the team earn USTFCCCA All-Academic.
Pre-Clayton State: Lettered two seasons in cross country and track and field at Colby Community College in Colby, Kan... Junior college head coach was James Ortiz... Selected NJCAA All-Region and All-Conference as a sophomore... Placed 31st (26:34) in the NJCAA National Meet, helping lead Colby to a 21st team place in the meet... In track and field this past season, he ran season-bests of 1:57.20 in the 800-meters, 4:01.66 in the 1500-meters and 15:37.80 for 5,000-meters.
High School: Attended Kapsabet Boys High School in Kapsabet, Kenya.
Personal: Favorite food is beef stew... Major is Nursing.
