Pre-Clayton State: Play in six games last season at Hawaii under head coach ??… Was a two-time NJCAA All-Region selection at Iowa Western… Head coach at Iowa Western was Jim Morris… Junior college teammate of fellow Laker recruit Tyrone Black… Was the nation’s top-ranked point guard and the No. 3-ranked junior college player overall according to Rival’s JUCO Junction as a sophomore… Averaged 15 points and dished out 118 assists during his freshman season, and 13 points a game as a sophomore, shooting 77 percent from the free throw line… Helped pace Iowa Western to a two-year mark of 42-19 and a pair of NJCAA Top 20 rankings.

High School: Lettered four seasons in basketball at Richards High School in Tallahassee, Fla… High school head coach was Eli Bryant… High school teammate of fellow Laker recruit Calvin Keaton… Served as team captain for three seasons… Helped pace Richards to records of 25-4, 22-7 and 23-5 from his sophomore to senior seasons… Averaged 15 points a game as a sophomore, 17 points a game as a junior and 19 points as a senior… Played AAU basketball for the Tallahassee Wildcats, the Jacksonville Bull and Team Stat.
