Pre-Clayton State: Two year standout at Waycross under former Clayton State player and assistant coach Cory Baldwin… Helped pace the Swamp Foxes to a 27-9 record during his sophomore season, winning the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association championship and advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan… Led the nation in steals with 135, averaging five a game… Also averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists a game while shooting 75 percent from the free throw line and 38 percent from 3-point range… Selected GCAA Defensive Player of the Year, All-GCAA and NJCAA All-American.

High School: Lettered two seasons in basketball at Brantley County High School in Nahunta, Ga… High school head coach was Greg Jacobs… Helped pace Brantley to a 24-5 mark his senior season with a region championship and a berth in Georgia State Playoffs… Selected Region Player of the Year as a senior.
