Pre-CCSU: Played two seasons at Wallace Community College (Hanceville, Ala.) averaging 16 points per game .... Named all-conference after averaging 18 points during sophomore campaign .... Three-year letterwinner and two-time captain for Coach Archie Chatmon at Albany High School .... Named most valuable player, best offensive, and all-region after scoring 20 points per game as a senior .... Also a four-time letterwinner and two-time all-region selection in football.
