Clayton State Athletics Renovation Information
In April of 2018, Clayton State Athletics began an extensive renovation of The Loch that includes new locker rooms for each team, a student-athlete lounge and a complete reconstruction of the lobby. The latter will include a self-contained concession area, digital signage and televisions.
Additional areas within the project include the removal of the current women's basketball locker room to expand the lobby, installation of free-standing trophy cases and the conversion of the current men's basketball locker room to an educational multi-purpose space.
A second educational area, as well as additional office space, will be added in the current footprint of the existing weight room while new equipment will be added to improve the use of the new weight room space following the completion of the renovations. The Athletics project is part of an overall Campus Core construction plan and is expected to conclude prior to November of 2018.
