ABOUT THE CAMBRIDGE COMPUTER LAKER CLUB GOLF CLASSIC
Clayton State University Athletics has a short but rich history of success. In the 27-year history of the program, Lakers student-athletes have produced an incredible 127 national postseason appearances (118 NCAA, 9 NAIA), 17 Peach Belt Conference Regular Season Championships, 30 PBC Tournament Titles (19 by individuals) and 73 All-Americans, all with just 12 sports. Highlighting these performances is the 2010-11 women's basketball program, which claimed the first NCAA Division II National Championship in program history.
Since the origins of the program, Clayton State Athletics has not been funded as well as its conference counterparts in the areas of scholarships or operating expenses. With that knowledge, we have decided to utilize the Laker Club, and specifically the Cambridge Computer Laker Club Golf Classic, to provide a boost to the educational and athletic pursuits of our student-athletes.
Whether you are sponsoring the entire event, a team or a hole, your participation will allow Clayton State Athletics to add much needed scholarship dollars for our students to attend summer school and/or come back for a final semester after their playing careers are over. You also have the satisfaction of knowing your contribution will serve the five county South Atlanta Metro community.

2017 CLASSIC INFORMATION
The 2017 Cambridge Computer Laker Club Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 28 at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club in Hampton, Georgia. Registration will be at 8 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. During registration there will be a putting contest, silent auction, raffle and other prize opportunities. Additionally, the festivities will include a "Copter Drop" in the afternoon for the first time in the event's history.
Breakfast will be provided by Bojangles and dinner by Rocky's Pizza Cafe with the awards ceremony to follow the tournament.
A rain out date has yet to be determined but the tournament will be played as scheduled unless the golf course management determines the course to be unplayable.

REGISTRATION/FEES/PAYMENT OPTIONS
Fees for this year's tournament are $200 per player and $700 per team. Prepaid items available include:
Mulligans: $10 each (limit of two per player)
Raffle Tickets: $2 each, 10 for $10 or three rolls of dice for $20
Red Tee Box Challenge: $10
Value Package: $50 (all prepaid items plus one extra mulligan and one extra red tee box - $70 value!)

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
One of the many ways to be involved with the 2017 Cambridge Computer Laker Club Golf Classic, and support the Lakers, is through a number of sponsorship opportunities.
This year's opportunities are: $4,000 Director, $1,500 Head Coach, $1,500 Hole-in-One, $1,500 Putting Contest, $1,500 Driving Range, $1,000 Assistant Coach and multiple levels of Tee Box sponsorship.

ABOUT THE VENUE: CRYSTAL LAKE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
One of the best golf outings on the south side of Atlanta, Ga. awaits at the Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club in Hampton, Georgia. Designed by renowned Georgia golf course architect Denis Griffiths, the course features a bit from Scotland in the design with a good bit of deception and links style bunkering.
