KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced on Wednesday its selection for the 2025-26 Honor's Court.  The Clayton State University men's basketball team saw three players placed on this prestigious list. 
 
Andre Young, DJ Wright, and Justin Evans earned this distinction.  Wright and Evans earned their second straight honor while Young was selected for this award for the first time in his career.  The Lakers now have 13 selections since the 2008-09 season.  This season also saw 17 selections from the Peach Belt Conference.
 
A native of Atlanta, Young made an immediate impact for the Lakers.  Andre led the team with 462 points and averaged 17.8 a game.  This season also saw Young break a 30+ year school record scoring 46 points against USC Beaufort on January 3^rd.  He also led the team with 78 assists, and 167 field goals made.  Young can add this honor to a resume that includes being a PBC Presidential Honor Roll and All-Academic team selection as well as a CSC Academic All-District honoree. 
 
A native of Greensboro, Ga., DJ had a solid season for the Lakers in 2025-26. He played and started in all 28 games and led the team with 55 made threes.  In addition, Wright scored the second most points on the team and averaged 14.8 points a game and saw 21 games of double-digit scoring.  DJ was selected as a 2026 CSC Academic All-District honoree and earned PBC Presidential Honor Roll and All-Academic team distinctions. 
 
A native of Covington, Ga., Justin Evans was impactful off the bench for the Lakers.  In 28 games, Evans scored 59 points and grabbed 27 boards.  Justin was also honored as a CSC Academic All-District and a PBC Presidential Honor Roll and All-Academic recipient earlier this season.
