Women's Basketball Defeats Georgia Southwestern At Home

Morrow, GA---The Lakers hosted the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes on Wednesday night in a close matchup that came down to the final seconds. Both teams exchanged runs throughout the night, setting the stage for a fast-paced and high-energy game that unfolded in front of the home crowd.

Right from the tip-off, the Lakers came out with energy. Dazjanae Greene and Paige McDonald helped control the boards early, grabbing key rebounds and keeping possessions alive. Etaria Gibbons and Jasmyn Burts contributed with aggressive drives to the basket, setting the tone for the team's pace.
