MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State University women's track & field standout
Marley Tate earned this week's Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Tate had a tremendous weekend on the track for the Lakers at the Carolina Classic.
Tate, who is a native of New Albany, Ind., ran the fastest 400m dash time in the conference this season, clocking a time of 57.60. Her time is also good for third all-time. In addition, Tate was a part of the 4x400m relay team that recorded the second-best time in the conference with a time of 3:59.16. That time is also good for second in program history. This is the first time this season that Tate has earned this distinction.
The Laker track & field program competes on Saturday, February 14
