MORROW, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) selected Clayton State University men's basketball guard Andre Young as its Men's Basketball Player of the Week.  This is the first such accomplishment for Young or any Laker player this season. 
 
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Young had quite a week for the Lakers.  On Tuesday against Miles, Andre scored 20 points on nine field goals made.  He also added six rebounds and four assists in that game.  On Saturday against Young Harris, Young scored 23 points and grabbed a team-best eight boards. 
 
This season, Young leads the team with 34 field goals made and is second with seven steals and 14.3 points a game.  The Lakers travel to Milledgeville to play Georgia College and State University on Wednesday, December 3^rd at 7:30 p.m.
