Lakers Fall in Final Nighthawk Classic Game 73-60

Dahlonega, GA – The Clayton State University Women's basketball team battled the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters Saturday in Dahlonega, GA, ultimately falling 60–73 in a competitive matchup. The Lakers showed determination and energy throughout the game, keeping the contest close in the first half.

From the tip off , The Lakers came out aggressive on both ends of the court. Nya Young scored early, contributing key jumpers and fast-break points, while Dazjana Greene provided solid ball-handling and a timely jumper. Tianna Dismuke worked inside, battling for rebounds and scoring layups that energized the team. Jasmyn Burts added crucial points and helped the Lakers stay in striking distance. The first half ended with the Lakers on the upside of the board.

In the second half, The Lakers continued to fight hard. Young and Greene attacked the basket with determination, Dismuke battled in the paint for every rebound, and Burts demonstrated control defensively, forcing turnovers and grabbing key rebounds. While Lincoln Memorial made some important shots, the Lakers stayed competitive and finished strong.
