SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Clayton State University women's soccer team returned to the pitch after a 10-day break as they played Flagler College on Saturday. The Lakers were stymied offensively and fell, 2-0.
The Lakers were only able to muster one shot in the first half which was attempted by
Aniyah Vargas in the 40
th minute. Flagler scored a goal at the 30
th minute and led, 1-0, going into the halftime break.
Rubie Kelley made four saves in the half.

The Lakers were again on the defensive in the second half and were only able to attempt a pair of shots. Vargas and
Karley Perry tallied shots. Flagler extended their lead at the 64
th minute and took a 2-0 lead.
Flagler outshot Clayton State 12-3 and won, 2-0.

nd at 3 p.m. on Laker Field for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day.
