SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Clayton State University men's soccer team traveled down to Flagler College and was shutout, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Lakers started the half with a shot by Isami Takeuchi but that went wide left.  The Lakers did not have another opportunity to score until the 26^th minute when Alex Rodriguez and Alexis Iturria's shots went high.  The Saints opened the scoring in the 22^nd minute and made the score 1-0.  From then on out, the Lakers put a ton of pressure on the Saint defense, but they stood tall leading 1-0 going into the halftime break.  The Lakers attempted five corner kicks in the half.

The Lakers continued to put pressure on the Saint defense, but they ultimately kept them off the board.  Clayton State saw shots from Camilo Velez and Takeuchi down the stretch, but the score still remained at 1-0.  The Saints added a goal in the 82^nd minute to take a 2-0 lead. 
 
Charlie Longino and Othmane Chagour all attempted shots in the final moments of the match however, Flagler came away with a 2-0 victory over Clayton State.
