MORROW, Ga. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) unveiled its selections for the Southeast Regional All-Region Teams on Tuesday morning. Clayton State University women's soccer player
Carrie Consolino was selected as a First-Team All-Region honoree. This is her first such distinction in her Laker career. She can add this accolade to list of honors that include first-team All-PBC.
A native of Peachtree City, Ga., Consolino had a breakout season to say the least. In 17 games, Carrie scored a team-best, conference and national second best 19 goals. Those 19 goals are good for fifth-most in a single season in program history and the most goals scored in a season since 2007. The Laker forward also notched 42 points, which is the most in a single season since 2005, 71 shots, and four assists. This season also saw Carrie tally five matches of at least two goals.
