MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State University women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday afternoon and hosted USC Beaufort. The two teams played to a 2-2 draw.
The score read 0-0 after the first 45 minutes. USC Beaufort outshot the Lakers, 7-3 in the half. The Lakers did not have many chances to score but
Chloe Flannaghan,
Tahlia Stangherlin, and
Carrie Consolino all notched shots.
Trinity Chastain made three saves in the half.

The scoring picked up in the second half. In the 48
th minute, the Lakers opened the scoring as
Carrie Consolino scored her first goal of the match and made the score, 1-0. Carrie was at it again in the 53
rd minute as she scored her second goal of the match and 16
th of the season. The Lakers led, 2-0. The Sand Sharks then fought back and scored two unanswered goals in the 73
rd and 90
th minute and tied the match at two.
The Lakers outshot the Sand Sharks, 9-5, in the second half but the two teams settled for a 2-2 draw.
