Laker Men's Golf Stands in Tied for Fifth Place after 18 Holes at the Bobcat Invitational

The Lakers will tee off on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

EATONTON, Ga. – The #12 Clayton State University men's golf team finished the first day of the Bobcat Invitational in tied for fifth place at the Cuscowilla Golf Club on Monday. 
 
Leading the Lakers in day one was Daniel Medellin, Sam Hershoff, Felipe Gomez, and Nico Cabello who stood in tied for 20th carding a 72 (+2).  All four golfers combined for 10 birdies and an eagle.  The eagle was carded by Hershoff on the par-five second hole. Rounding out the field for the Lakers was Augusto Oliva.  Olivia currently sits in tied for 57th after shooting a 76 (+6) in the first 18-holes. Oliva, like Hershoff, carded an eagle at the par-five second hole.    
 
Play concludes at the Bobcat Invitational on Tuesday, March 21st at the Cuscowilla Golf Club at 9:30 a.m.
