DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Clayton State women's track & field team concluded the first day of the Peach Belt Conference Championships on Friday. 

Ny'Asia Green led the way for the Lakers with a podium finish in the long jump. Green cleared 5.37m, a personal best, and took third in a field of 12 competitors. 

Three Lakers advanced to the finals in multiple events as well. Maya Adams and Cayla Brown will run in the 100m and 200m finals while Ariyonna Jones will run in the 200m and 400m finals on Saturday.
