DAHLONEGA Ga. – The Clayton State men's basketball team dropped a road Peach Belt Conference game Wednesday night, falling 83-65 at North Georgia. 

Jalen Shaw led all players with 24 points and 13 rebounds while playing 34 minutes and going 10-of-10 from the free throw line. The junior also had four blocks, three steals and two assists. 

The Lakers battled in the first half and led 16-14 with a little over 13 minutes left in the opening half. UNG responded with a 22-3 run to pull ahead 26-19 with 4:51 on the clock. 

UNG would end up leading 46-23 at halftime. 

Wes Williams scored 16 points and was the only other Laker to score in double figures. 

The second half wasn't much better as UNG maintained the advantage throughout the half.
