MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State men's and women's basketball teams will conclude their regular seasons Saturday as Augusta makes its way to The Loch for some mid-day Peach Belt Conference basketball.
 
On Saturday, nine senior Lakers, made up of men's basketball, women's basketball and cheerleading, will be honored as their time at Clayton State comes to an end.
 
The women's basketball team is still in a fight for fourth place in the conference standings and will need a win and a Columbus State loss to secure a home PBC tournament game on March 2.

The Lakers are coming off a tough loss at home to Georgia Southwestern on Wednesday. Jadah Waite had a career-high 25 points in the loss. The Hurricanes will enter the tournament as the third ranked team in the league.
 
Clayton State holds a 21-14 record over the Jaguars of Augusta but fell 66-58 earlier this season on the road.
 
The men will close their season on Saturday with the No. 10 team in nation. With Wednesday's loss to Ga. Southwestern, the Lakers have officially been eliminated from making the conference tournament.
 
Clayton State is 14-26 all-time against the Jags and have dropped five straight.
