MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State men's basketball head coach
Vince Alexander announced that Bryce Weinmunson (Mandeville, La.) has signed to play with the Lakers for the 2022-23 season.
A senior at Mandeville High School, Weinmunson is a 6-2 combo guard who has scored over 1,300 career points. He is coached by Josh Priola.
"We are very excited to have Bryce join our program. He is a very talented guard with a high IQ," Alexander said. "He is the son of two coaches and will be a lot of fun to watch play and coach."
Weinmunson was a first-team 6-5A All-District player as a junior and was also named 6-5A District Offensive Player of the Year the same season.
As a sophomore, he was named a second-team All-District player.
His parents both attended Southeastern Louisiana University where his mother played basketball and his father played baseball.
Outside of Mandeville, he also plays for the AAU team, LivOn-Fleur De Lis Basketball where Randy Livingston and Cleavon William serve as Co-Directors.
