TOCCOA, Ga. – The Clayton State University men's golf team concluded their fall season as they played in the McCoy-Wright Currahee Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.  The event hosted by Anderson and Erskine was played at the Currahee Golf Club. The Lakers finshed the tournament in seventh place.   
 
 
Felipe Gomez led the Lakers in the first two rounds.  He carded two rounds of 70 and is tied for the lead at four-under.  Following close behind was Daniel Medellin.  Medellin shot an even-round 72 in his first 18 holes and then finished with a 71 (-1) in the second round.  Daniel, after two rounds, was in sixth place. Following Gomez and Medellin is Augusto Oliva, who shot a 79 in the first round, bounced back in the second round with a 70 and is in tied for 30^th place.
 
 
Nico Cabello and Sam Hershoff rounded out the field for the Lakers as, after two rounds, finds themselves in tied for 62^nd and tied for 72^nd, respectively.  The Lakers find themselves in fourth place as team after two rounds.

 
In the final round of the tournament, Gomez led the Lakers.  Gomez carded a final round 73 (+1) and finished tied for second place.  Medellin followed Gomez after carding a final round 73 (+1).  He finished tied for nineth place.  Oliva then followed Medellin after shooting a final round 74 (+2).  August finished in tied or 31^st. 
 
 
Cabello and Hershoff rounded out the team for the Lakers as they finished seventh as a team
