The Lakers Rack Up 11 Goals at Albany State on Saturday

Amiah Sprunger-Hightower scored four times and Luise Domnick tallied three assists

ALBANY, Ga. – The Clayton State University women's soccer team concluded their regular season on the road at Albany State University on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers hit the back of the net 11 times and won 11-1. 
 
The Lakers got off a fast start as they marked a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes.  In the fifth minute, off a corner kick by Frederikke Troldborg, Felicia Wallin fired a shot past the Golden Ram keeper for her second goal of the season.  A couple of minute later, off a nice ball by Kamila Mroziewicz, Valeria Gasca notched her first goal of the season, making the score, 2-0. The Lakers added to their lead in the 13th minute as Luise Domnick fed the ball to Mroziewicz and she scored her second goal of the season and grew the lead to 3-0.  The Lakers kept firing on all cylinders as Amiah Sprunger-Hightower scored her first goal of the match in the 14th minute and then notched her second goal in the 20th minute to make the score, 5-0. 
 
The Lakers added an own goal and goals by Tahlia Stangherlin, Nyeemah Lucky as they took an 8-0 lead going into the break.

Sprunger-Hightower gave the Lakers a 9-0 lead in the early minutes of the second half as she completed the hattrick.  Amiah then scored her fourth goal of the match in the 51st minute of an assist by Julia Hasenecz.  The Golden Rams finally broke through on the scoreboard after the converted a penalty kick in the 53rd minute.  The Lakers led 10-1. 
 
The Lakers added a goal in the 61st minute by Mroziewicz as they blew past the Golden Rams of Albany State University, 11-1.
