Men's Soccer Falls at Lander

GREENWOOD S.C. – The Clayton State men's soccer team fell 4-0 at Lander Wednesday night as the Lakers suffered their first Peach Belt Conference loss of the season. 

Lander scored twice in the first half and twice in the second half. 

The Lakers outshot Lander 8-7 in the opening 45 minutes, but were limited to just two shots in the second half as the Bearcats totaled nine shots in the final frame. 

Langston Blackstock had a team-high four shots as he, Christian Ransome, Joel McIlroy and Vic Delgado Miller played the full 90 minutes. 

COMING UP:
- The Lakers have a week off before returning to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 6, for a home match against No. 9 Young Harris. Start time is set for 5 p.m.
