MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Tampa on Sunday afternoon.
Clayton State held the ball for most of the first half but was unable to find the back of the net as both teams played to a 0-0 first-half draw.
Coming out of the halftime break, it didn't take Tampa long to put the game away as the Spartans scored goals in the 52nd, 54th and 63rd minute.
Tampa held a 12-7 shot advantage over the Lakers while placing five shots on goal.
Langston Blackstock and
Geo Rios each had two shots.
