FLORENCE, S.C. – The Clayton State men's soccer team lost 4-0 to Francis Marion in Monday's Peach Belt Conference matchup.

After playing to a 0-0 score in the first half, the Lakers (3-4, 3-4 PBC) gave up four goals in a 14-minute span in the second half.

The Patriots (4-3-2, 3-3-2 PBC) scored their first goal in the 68th minute before adding their second in the 69th minute.

FMU then went up 3-0 in the 72nd minute and scored its final goal in the 82nd.

Clayton State managed three shots for the game while FMU tallied 16.

COMING UP:
- The Lakers return home for a conference matchup against Young Harris on Sunday, March 28.
