AUGUSTA, Ga. – The men's basketball team lost 101-56 to Augusta on Monday night in a rescheduled Peach Belt Conference matchup.
Stef Korfas led all players with 25 points as the junior played 40 minutes. In the four games since February 10, Korfas is averaging 16.2 points per game.
Augusta (8-6, 8-6 PBC) jumped out to a 10-6 lead at 14:25 and never looked back. The Jaguars slowly built their first-half lead and led 42-20 at halftime.
The second half was the same story as the Lakers (0-9, 0-9 PBC) had no answer for the Augusta offense.
COMING UP:
- Clayton State returns home Wednesday for a senior day matchup against Young Harris. Gametime is set for 5:00 p.m.
- The Lakers are then scheduled to close out the regular season on Saturday with a trip to North Georgia.
