MORROW, Ga. – In conjunction with iTHINK Financial, the Clayton State Department of Athletics has announced its Community Service Project of the Month for the months of October and November 2021.
 
Throughout the months of October and November, Clayton State student-athletes assisted the University's Facilities Management team with multiple campus beautification projects.
 
Laker student-athletes and coaches assisted in picking up trash, pulling weeds, planting flowers and spreading pine straw.

The efforts of Laker Nation has been seen nationally as Clayton State has been ranked inside the top two of the Helper Helper Division II rankings throughout the fall.

"Our student-athletes really stepped up to help our facilities staff this semester to make sure the campus is always looking its best," Associate Athletics Director Katelyn Skarr said. "Each team has done a fantastic job coordinating weekly cleanup walkthroughs. The efforts of our student-athletes and coaches continue to impress me."
