MORROW, Ga. – Tickets for the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame are now on sale, the Department of Athletics announced Tuesday. The ceremony will be held on Feb. 11, 2022.
Originally scheduled for Sept. 24, the Lakers will enshrine former women's basketball head coach Dennis Cox and the entire 2010-11 Division II Women's Basketball National Championship Team.
Fans can purchase tickets to the event
here and will
need to RSVP by Monday, Feb. 7, as tickets will not be sold at the event.
The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. with a social gathering before the official ceremony begins at 7 p.m. This year's Hall of Fame will coincide with Clayton State's Homecoming Week. On Feb. 12, the men's and women's basketball teams will host Columbus State.

This will be the eighth class to be inducted into the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame and will mark the first time an entire team will be added.
The 2010-11 team went 35-1 and won by an average of 22.4 points per game which was best in the nation. That team was led by Dennis Cox,
Kaleena Coleman '06 and featured 13 student-athletes: Timethia Bennett, Latonda Bruce, Keona Dixon, Breanna Fort, Alexiss Griffin, Drameka Griggs, Brittany Hall, Renee Jackson, Shacamra Jackson, Genesis Kelly, Kayla Mobley, Teshymia Tillman and Tanisha Woodard.
The 2011 Clayton State Women's Basketball National Championship team remains the only PBC women's basketball team, the only Southeast Region women's basketball team and the only women's basketball team from the State of Georgia to claim a national championship during the NCAA/NAIA era.
History
Established in 2013, the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame was created to honor former Laker student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty/staff and community members who have, by their outstanding achievements, contributed to the ideals of the Clayton State Department of Athletics. Including this year's honorees, the Clayton State Athletics Hall of Fame has named eight classes and enshrined 29 former student-athletes, coaches, administrators and special inductees. This year's class will be inducted on Friday, February 11, 2022.
