Clayton State Set to Host Highest Scoring Team in PBC as Young Harris Visits The Loch

MORROW, Ga. – In a reprise of what was the highest scoring game in the program's Division II era a year ago, Clayton State (3-16, 1-11 PBC) men's basketball plays host to a high scoring Young Harris (5-15, 3-9 PBC) squad at The Loch on Wednesday, February 5. Game time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. following the women's contest.

Clayton State trails the all-time series 4-11 dating back to the first meeting on January 10, 2013. They picked up their first victory in the fifth game when they posted a 73-65 decision at The Loch on January 3, 2015. After that, Young Harris won five straight before the Lakers delivered a 94-75 victory on January 3, 2018.

They then made it two in a row with an 88-85 decision in the mountains on January 31, 2018. That win marked the first there in the series, as Clayton State is just 1-7 in Young Harris. They fell 109-85 there on January 9, 2019 but rebounded with a 121-115 victory at The Loch on February 6 of that year. Earlier this season they dropped a 102-95 decision at YHC on January 8, 2020.

Coverage of the game will be available both on live stats and live video with Bill Schindler bringing you the call on www.ClaytonStateSports.com.
