Clayton State Heads to USC Aiken With Seven Game Win Streak on the Line

MORROW, Ga. – Having taken over the third spot in the Peach Belt Conference standings, Clayton State (16-9, 12-5 PBC) women's basketball travels to USC Aiken (14-11, 9-8 PBC) looking to solidify that spot on Saturday, February 22. Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m. in Aiken, South Carolina.

Clayton State leads the all-time series 25-14, dating back to the first meeting on November 20, 1995 when they won that game 78-61 as the first of four straight. Among the Lakers' wins in the series history are an impressive 5-2 record against nationally ranked Pacer teams, including a 56-50 victory over a No. 3 ranked squad on January 16, 2013 in Aiken.
 
Most recently the Lakers have taken 11 of the last 14, but USCA notched a 67-58 decision in the first meeting last season on December 17, 2018 at The Loch before the Lakers rebounded with a 73-68 win in Aiken on January 19, 2019. They rounded out the season with a commanding 59-44 Peach Belt Conference Quarterfinal victory on March 6, 2019 and added a 79-64 decision on January 11, 2020 at The Loch.
