MORROW, Ga. – In their second-to-last road game of the year, Clayton State (6-18, 4-13 PBC) men's basketball heads to USC Aiken (17-10, 13-4 PBC) for Peach Belt Conference action on Saturday, February 22. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. in Aiken, S.C. following the women's contest.
 
In a series that dates back to December of 1996, Clayton State and USC Aiken are deadlocked at 20-20 through 40 games. The Lakers got the better of the Pacers with a come-from-behind 73-70 PBC semifinal victory on March 3, 2018 and the teams are fairly evenly split in terms of venue, with the Lakers at 10-9 in Morrow and 8-8 on the road in Aiken.
 
They have met five times on a neutral court with the Pacers holding a slight 3-2 edge in those situations. Additionally, the teams have split the last eight meetings but with USCA taking the last three, including a 102-93 decision at The Loch on January 11, 2020.
