MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (4-17, 2-12 PBC) men's basketball enters the home stretch of the season as they host Georgia Southwestern (8-12, 3-11 PBC) in Peach Belt Conference action on Wednesday, February 12. Game time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. following the women's contest at The Loch.
 
The Lakers trail the all-time series 23-19 dating back to the first meeting on January 26, 1991 when both schools were members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Georgia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GIAC).
 
The Hurricanes won 12 of the first 13 meetings through February 19, 1996 but Clayton State went 18-10 over the next 28 games in the series. That stretch moved to seven games to mark their longest in series history, culminating with a 98-75 win on January 30, 2019 at The Loch. GSW snapped that run with a 78-68 decision on February 27, 2019 and a 98-81 win on January 15, 2020, both of which were at the Storm Dome.
