MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-9, 0-4 PBC) men's basketball faces a stiff test as Peach Belt Conference leading USC Aiken (9-6, 5-0 PBC) visits The Loch on Saturday, January 11. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. following the women's contest.
 
In a series that dates back to December of 1996, Clayton State holds a 20-19 edge and got the better of the Pacers with a come-from-behind 73-70 PBC semifinal victory on March 3, 2018. In 39 meetings, the teams are fairly evenly split in terms of venue, with the Lakers at 10-8 in Morrow and 8-8 on the road in Aiken.
 
They have met five times on a neutral court with the Pacers holding a slight 3-2 edge in those situations. Additionally, Clayton State has won four of the last seven meetings since February 10, 2016 but dropped a 99-76 decision at The Loch on December 17, 2018 and 97-93 on in Aiken on January 19, 2019.
