MORROW, Ga. – Just two weeks out from the 2019 Laker Golf Classic, Clayton State Athletics has registration and sponsor opportunities for one of the Department's signature fundraising events set to be held on Monday, August 26 at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club in neighboring Hampton, Georgia.

This year's Classic will begin at 8 a.m. with a breakfast to follow an hour later prior to a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Fees for this year's tournament are $175 per player and $700 for a team of four. The event, held on the last Monday of August each year, helps to fund educational efforts that allow Laker student-athletes to complete their degrees.

For those interested in helping to further the goals of Clayton State student-athletes beyond just playing in the Classic, visit the Sponsorship Opportunities page that details the various ways avenues available this year. These include title sponsor as well as gold, silver and bronze sponsorship levels, each of which come with their own benefits.

Registration will be available on the day of the tournament but don't wait. Clayton State Athletics has strived to make the process as user friendly as possible – by doing our best to eliminate the paperwork!

About The 2019 Laker Golf Classic
The 2019 Laker Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 26 at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club in Hampton, Georgia. Registration will be at 8 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Breakfast will be provided at 9 a.m. with the awards ceremony to follow the tournament.
 
A rain out date has yet to be determined but the tournament will be played as scheduled unless the golf course management determines the course to be unplayable.
